End of day 2 on the bike here in San Pedro be la cueva. Weve been off road from just south of Nogales and have been passing thru small peublas from the mid 16th century.
Some solid challenging riding under stellar blue skies.
More later.

Day 3 now in yakora after a long tough challenging amazing day. Too many gears on the 690 when all you need is 1st and 2nd! For hours. Lots of concrete sections which in Mexico means steep! Too steep for normal primitive road mntce so they concrete the steep stuff, and you'll find concrete sections In the middle of nowhere. Its a chilly night here at about 6000ft.
And we do it again tomorrow..

Now in basaseachi after passing thru some stunning canyons and cresting over 8400ft we're now at 6600 and have bellies full of carne aside tacos and a small mountain of nachos. Hiking in to the falls here and it was well worth the 3k hike to see the 1000ft falls from the top side. Unreal vertical canyon walls likely about 1000ft tall.
Fun easy ride today sweet twisted pavement and more dirt for hours.
Great day
A welcome break from the intense previous days rides.

Something about all good plans... day 5 was a rutas offroad which according to maps and Google earth should've got us to creel. The should've part turned the day into a spectacular out and back due to a massivly washed out bridge. We did get across the river only to be turned back due to a massive large Boulder slide. A lot of riding for not much forward movement.
Day 6 uruachi last night and we're now in creel.

After a long very rough day we are in Choix. Very rough. Only 1 flat today. All forearms are fine.
Here is our hotel in Urique last night.

Though they are a little small we all have the rear tires that will likely be needed. In el fuerte now taking aday off. The largest in sinaloa state festival starting here tonight. There may be carvezas... and unfortunately noseeums gajillions of them!
