CFB Chilliwack has tenure on the road and that allows them to put a locked gate on it if they have good reason. (which they do) My understanding is that they have to open it if requested by someone (like us) but they have refused so far. They have no right to keep us off the road, but they have guns and we dont (and if we have guns then they have bigger ones.)
Lots of trails around the gate, the ez route is marked with Blue Arrows, they should still be up. The ez route bypasses the mud hole
